A local resident of Tamborine Mountain's southern suburb of Mount Tamborine, Alex maintains a small 80 sq mtr vegetable garden.  Alex and his wife Jo, and 2 children - 3 year old Ben and 1 year old Emma, live on a 3 acre property, "Millbrook", which also has 12 productive chooks and many young fruit and nut trees which should be bearing produce for the Green Shed in the coming years.

Mt Tamborine was chosen as the "ideal retirement" location by Bev and Geoff Buckley when they moved from Sydney.  Business and education are not the sorts of backgrounds that usually prepare people for farming, but these were the skills that Bev and Geoff brought to Tamborine Mountain.  In Sydney, Geoff ran a national training company and Bev ran a company called Lifeclear, which helped people improve the quality of their lives through counselling and education.

Di and Bill own a 2 acre property on the southern end of the mountain in the suburb of Mount Tamborine. Di and Bill grow a huge variety of produce all year round and are, like many other TMLPA growers, firm believers in nutritional farming without harmful chemicals.
