Stewed Tamarillo


6-8 tamarillos,
1 tablespoon sugar.


Place 6-8 tamarillos in boiling water until the skin splits.  Remove from water.  Allow to cool then remove skins.  Slice tamarillos into a bowl.  Sprinkle sugar over the fruit and leave for 1 hour.  Serve with yoghurt, cream or ice cream.
